How Does a Spherical Disc Ball Valve Work?
Spherical disc ball valves are engineered for precise flow control with exceptional sealing performance. These valves use a spherical ball with a bore (hole) at the center, positioned inside the valve body. With a simple quarter-turn (90-degree) rotation of the handle or actuator, the ball either allows or blocks the flow. When the bore is aligned with the pipeline, fluid flows freely through the valve. When rotated perpendicular, the solid part of the ball stops the flow completely.
