How Kitz Micro Ball Valves Work
Kitz micro ball valves are engineered for compact piping systems where precise flow control and space efficiency are critical. At the core of each valve is a small spherical ball with a precision-bored port at its center, housed within a tight-tolerance valve body made from brass or stainless steel.
Operation is based on a simple quarter-turn mechanism. When the lever handle is aligned parallel to the pipeline, the ball rotates to open the port, allowing fluid or gas to flow freely. Turning the handle perpendicular to the pipeline rotates the ball 90°, blocking the port completely and ensuring a tight, leak-proof shut-off. This fast on/off action requires minimal effort and no special tools.
