Choose by Body Style — Wafer, Lug or Flanged
End connection determines how the valve seats against your pipework and whether downstream piping can be removed while the system is live. As a stocking butterfly valve supplier in India, Concorde carries all three configurations ex-ready in standard sizes.
Wafer Type
Clamped between pipe flanges on through-bolts. No integral flange — the most compact and cost-effective choice. Correct for water mains, chilled water loops and general utility lines where the system is always fully drained before maintenance. DN50–DN600 in CI, DI and SS available ex-stock.
Lug Type
Threaded lugs around the body allow you to bolt each side of the pipe independently. You can remove downstream piping without disturbing the upstream side — essential on dead-end service or any branch you maintain while the rest of the system remains pressurised.
Flanged (Double Flange)
Full flanges on both ends, bolted directly into the line like a gate valve. Preferred above DN300 or on higher-pressure duty where precise flange-to-flange face length and gasket control are required. Available to order with short lead times.
