A ball valve shuts off flow with a quarter-turn of a bored ball sitting inside two seats — turn the handle 90 degrees and the bore lines up or blocks the line completely. That full-bore path is the whole appeal: almost no pressure drop when open, a tight shut-off when closed, and a mechanism simple enough to survive years of dirty water or slurry that would wreck a more delicate valve.
Concorde manufactures its own ball valve range in Mumbai, is an authorised KITZ distributor, and supplies other leading brands on request. Most buyers have a genuine choice on this page — our own manufactured version, or the specific brand your project needs.

Most ball valve confusion isn't about brand, it's about body construction.
Two body halves bolted together around the ball. Cheaper, fewer potential leak paths, the right default for standard on/off isolation where the valve won't need servicing in place.
A removable centre section lets you pull the ball and seats out for cleaning or replacement without cutting the valve out of the pipeline — pays for itself the first time you don't have to re-weld a joint.
Every design below is manufactured in-house unless noted, with genuine KITZ available where your spec calls for it.
Everything a purchase engineer needs before raising an enquiry, in one table rather than spread across six sub-pages. These are the standards and ranges our own manufactured ball valve range is built and tested to.
| Design & testing standards | API 6D (pipeline valves) and BS 5351 (steel ball valves for the petroleum industry) |
|---|---|
| Actuator mounting | ISO 5211 mounting pad on actuated variants, so pneumatic and electric actuators fit the same body |
| Body construction | 2-piece and 3-piece. 3-piece allows in-line seat and seal replacement without breaking the pipework — the decision that drives whole-life cost |
| Ball support | Floating ball for general duty; trunnion-mounted on larger sizes and higher pressure, where a floating ball would load the downstream seat too heavily |
| Pressure rating | PN10, PN16 and PN25; ASME Class 150 on flanged builds |
| Body materials | Brass, bronze, cast iron, carbon steel (WCB), SS304, SS316 and CF8M |
| Seat material | PTFE as standard, selected by media and temperature |
| End connections | Screwed (BSP/NPT), flanged, socket weld and butt weld |
| Operation | Lever, pneumatic (single or double acting, with trunnion-mounted and manual-override options) and electric (12V to 220V, 2-way and 3-way diverting) |
| Documentation | ISO 9001:2015 certified; material test certificates and pressure test reports on request |
Socket weld and butt weld ends are worth asking about specifically: they give a permanent, leak-tight joint for high-pressure and high-temperature lines where a threaded connection would eventually weep. Material and size detail per variant is on the manual, cast iron, stainless steel, pneumatic and electric ball valve pages, and the genuine KITZ range is on the KITZ ball valves page.
We'd rather explain it than let the title tag do the talking: Concorde manufactures its own ball valve range in Mumbai (bronze, brass, cast iron, stainless). We're also an authorised KITZ distributor — genuine KITZ brass gate and micro ball valves, not grey-market. And if your spec calls for a different brand entirely, we stock and supply other leading brands too. See the KITZ distributor page for the genuine KITZ range.
Alongside our own manufactured range and KITZ distributorship, we source and supply these brands on request. The full KITZ ball valve range — including SZA forged brass and stainless steel flanged end valves — has its own section.

Same quality process whether you're buying one valve for a site repair or a project quantity: material and pressure test certificates on request, ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturing, and 14+ years supplying water, oil & gas, chemical, HVAC and marine buyers across India.
Every claim below can be checked before you place an order — ask us for the certificate, the distributorship confirmation or the registration number and we will send it.
KITZ product comes through authorised channels, not the grey market — with KITZ's own cast body markings, figure number and pressure rating intact.
Our manufacturing runs under a certified quality management system, and the same process governs how bought-in product is received, stored and despatched.
Ask at order stage and we supply the MTC against your batch. On KITZ product that is the manufacturer's own certificate, not a document we generate.
A registered Indian manufacturer — which matters where your procurement policy requires it, and where MSME payment terms apply to the purchase.
Send size, material and end connection and you get price, availability and lead time inside a working day — or a straight answer that we cannot supply it.
Because we both manufacture and distribute, we have no reason to push one over the other. If the material is wrong for your fluid or the class is under-rated, we say so before quoting.
Concorde Valves & Automations stocks manual, pneumatic and electric ball valves ex-warehouse in Mumbai for same-week delivery, plus genuine KITZ ball valves as an authorised distributor.
A 2-piece body is cheaper and fine for standard isolation duty. A 3-piece body has a removable centre section, so you can pull the ball and seats for cleaning or repair without cutting the valve out of the line — worth it wherever maintenance access matters.
Both, and we tell you which on every page: our bronze, brass, cast iron and stainless ball valve range is manufactured by Concorde in Mumbai. KITZ brass gate and micro ball valves are genuine KITZ product sold through us as an authorised distributor.
Bronze, brass, carbon steel and SS304/SS316 as standard, screwed or flanged ends, sizes 15mm to 100mm ex-stock, larger to order.
Yes — full-bore stainless steel ball valves are a common choice for higher-pressure isolation duty. Check the pressure-temperature rating on the specific size and material before ordering for anything above standard duty.
Tell us the size, end connection, material and brand preference — we'll quote within 24 hours.
